Topic: Stoicism and Death

"To philosophise is to learn how to die." — Montaigne, drawing on Cicero and Seneca

Death comes up as a topic of discussion regularly at Perth Stoa, and was a prominent feature in the early Stoics' work. In this session, we'll explore how the Stoics viewed and accepted death, and discuss why the Western world seems to have such a fear of the inevitable.
